Microtubules

Microtubules in a haustorial cell of Orobanche crenata (broomrape, a parasitic species). Microtubules are components of the cytosceleton. By fixation with glutaraldehyde their structure is conserved and they can be viewed in the electron microscope. Microtubules have a ring structure in cross-section. (I. DÖRR, 1974).
