Electron Microscopic Picture of a Cross-Section Through a Cell


Vallisneria with chloroplasts and a nucleus located at the cell walls. The large central vacuole is especially conspicious. In living cells of this kind the chloroplasts are usually rotating. The structure at the outside of the cell is the cell wall. (Y. YAMAGUCHI and R. NAGAL, 1981)
