The TAYLOR-Experiment allows to prove the semiconservative replication of the chromatids. 1. Replication in the presence of 3H-labelled thymine (the labelled chromatid is depicted as a broken line). 2. Metaphase after the labelling. 3. Replication in media devoid of 3H thymine. 4. Further metaphase (J. H. TAYLOR et al., 1957).
