Distribution of the Ecogeographic Races nitens (red) and polyantha (blue) of the Species Clarcia speciosa (overlapping area of distribution: pink)
The ecogeographic and chromosomal races of Clarcia speciosa are not identical. One of the chromosomal races lives to the North of the reddish line, the other to the South (W. BLOOM, H. LEWIS, 1972).
