Kelsi Scott earned her B. S. in Biology at Illinois StateUniversity and is pursuing her M. S. with Dr. Barbara Crandall-Stotler in the Department of Plant Biology. As part of her thesis research, she is generating RAPD data for 25 sibling clones of Fossombronia foveolata collected from a population in Jackson Hollow, Pope county, Illinois. One hundred random primers are being used to determine if the population is selfing or out-crossing. This research is supported by PEET grant (DEB-9521883) from the National Science Foundation.
