20/20 rhinovirus
Each year we have to face the common cold again. Many kind of viruses can affect us. Illustrated here is rhinovirus 16, one of over 100 serotypes of rhinovirus. Antibodies produced by the immunune system against one serotype do not work against the others. Vaccines cannot protect against so many varieties and our best hope resides in the development of new anti-viral drugs.
