Anaglyphic Stereo Pairs

Anaglyphs are stereo pairs combined together in a single image and require a simple, cheap red/blue pair of glasses to see the image in 3D.

Glasses can be home-made (red on the right eye, Blue/Green on the left eye) or purchased in novelty stores or catalogs. 3Dimension is a 3D company that will sell such glasses, 2 pairs for $1: http://www.3dcompany.com/webintro.html

Images are first rendered by the program GRASP and then combined with the ImageMagik program "combine -stereo" to superimpose the 2 images. Time permiting the resulting purple background is removed with the paint bucket with the program Photoshop.

Unless noted, images are © 1998, Jean-Yves Sgro. Images can be used for any type of educational, non commercial purposes without special permission.
