Interactive Visualizations of Complete Virus Particles

Virus particles solved by X-ray crystallography can be viewed interactively. Your web-browser must be configured to automatically launch a client-side "viewer" program (helper program) when a PDB data file is downloaded.

Note that the PDB files are UNIX compressed so you will need to set up browser to launch a de-compression program before launching the PDB viewer program.

It might be easier to download the file to your desktop, decompress it and manually launch it...

WARNING! Displaying these structures with a molecular graphics program is very CPU intensive and requires a lot of memory!
