Common Tree Diseases of British Columbia, Forest Health Network, Canadian Forest Service of Natural Resources Canada, Pacific Forestry Centre, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. This service provides information on many disease of trees. They offer different entry possibilities: You can select species by group name, scientific name or common name, Disease can be selected by host or or symptoms and they also provide a problem diagnosis feature. For each disease you will get information on hosts, distribution, identification, microscopic characteristics, damage, remarks, references and several figures and images. A glossary of the used termis is available. The site is easy to navigate and the information is very well organized. It is a highly useful resource not only for those living in British Columbia and is a TIP in this section.

The site is focused on commercial apple growers in Massachusetts. It includes information on other deciduous tree fruits including peaches, pears, plums and cherries.
