The site was developed in 1997, especially to help with VCE Units 3 and 4 Biology. So Bookmark it now and return often to see what's here for you.

Information about the VCE Biology Course is here for you, as well as Summary notes for CAT 1 and CAT 3.

There is lots of useful material about CAT 2: the nature of the task, assessment criteria, what's required for a 'very high' for each criterion, hints on tackling the task and the questions a student should ask when organising material to complete the CAT 2 report. The Interviews with Scientists have been designed to provide information on topics that students can develop into a CAT 2 report. A glossary of terms used in the interviews and a list of useful links complements this material.

Although I am a 'real life' teacher in 1998, I am keeping an eye on this site which was a major project of mine in 1997. I am still willing to provide a 'feedback' service on the site, so I would welcome your emails to which I will try to reply promptly if an answer is required. See you somewhere in cyberspace! Jenny

This site is brought to you as a service by the School of Biochemistry at LaTrobe University. It demonstrates the initiative of Biochemistry at LaTrobe - something you would do well to remember when you phone in those VTAC preferences!

We welcome your comments about this project.

Clicking on Kick-the-cat will always return you to the VCE Biology Students' Home Page (the page you are now visiting).
