Pesticide coverage

Shortly after spraying, growth produces new plant parts which have no pesticide on them. This image shows pesticide-covered plant parts as red and it is easy to see the positions of the newly-grown, unprotected plant parts which are green and mostly at the ends of the main stem and branches. The percentage of total leaf area unprotected by pesticide is shown below the image.
