Complete 'normal leaf' variety shoot system

A complete shoot system of a 'normal leaf' variety cotton as seen from the side and from above. The virtual cotton model keeps track of all the plant parts of different kinds, their sizes, ages, positions and other information. In this example, the main stem bears vegetative branches at nodes 4 and 5. Each fruiting branch was allowed to set 3 bolls and shedding of squares, flowers and fruit was not simulated. A step is the time taken to add one main stem node.
