Medium
Formulation Error
In some published formulations for C-Fern Basic Medium (modified Parker- Thompson’s), K2HPO4 is incorrectly specified. Please check your written materials and, if necessary, change the formula to read KH2PO4. We have tested both formulations and find that gametophyte growth is similar. However, the use of K2HPO4 may result in poorer sporophyte growth. |
